Dubai Butterfly Garden: opening hours, tickets and getting there

Dubai Butterfly Garden is an indoor, air-conditioned garden in Al Barsha South 3, right next to Dubai Miracle Garden. Unlike its neighbour it is open all year, daily from 9am to 6pm. A combo ticket with Miracle Garden costs AED 140 plus VAT in the 2026–27 season, and under-3s go free.

Inside Dubai Butterfly Garden

Opening hours

  • Every day, all year: 9am to 6pm. It is indoors, so it stays open in summer when Miracle Garden is closed.

Tickets

  • Butterfly Garden only: prices online vary by seller; check the current rate when you book a Butterfly Garden ticket.
  • Combo with Dubai Miracle Garden: AED 140 plus VAT for the 2026–27 season.
  • Under 3: free.

What you see

Several domed rooms full of free-flying butterflies, with thousands of tropical species, plus a small butterfly museum. Walk slowly: butterflies land on visitors, especially on bright clothes.

Getting there

  • Metro and bus: Red Line to Mall of the Emirates, then bus 105 (it serves Miracle Garden and the Butterfly Garden in season; check the RTA app).
  • Taxi: about 10 to 15 minutes from Mall of the Emirates.
  • Car: free parking.

Where to stay

The garden is closest to Al Barsha, Dubai Marina and JBR. A Dubai Marina penthouse is about 20 to 25 minutes away by taxi.
